When people, disciplines and departments, within an organization, better collaborate, it will have a tremendous positive effect on that organization. The results will shine, sick leave numbers will drop, employees will feel better and talents will stay longer. Connecting is the key to this success. By connecting people, a great and meaningful positive energy will be created.
Connections start when people genuine show interest in each other, ask each other questions, are being involved and show this involvement in word and action.
As coach I focus on the individual and the team to create a connecting and involving organization. With this approach, I help the employee and the employer to get the maximum potential out of both.

The power lies in a simple and pragmatic approach. To create an organization in which connecting is an automatic element, I firstly will analyze the bottlenecks within the organization. In discussing with the employees and their managers, I help them – and the organization – in finding the answers themselves. This will be a first step towards a connected and involved organization.
Depending on the outcome, we develop and follow up. The focus will be on communication: asking each other questions, making sure people are genuinely interested in each other and show involvement.
The most important part of my approach is the fact that we do not have a written blue print as often happens during engagement studies and meetings. No!! Give people space to speak from their heart.

Over the last few years, employees and managers have been inundated with all kinds of management concepts which came in via the main entrance and invisibly disappeared via the back door.

We need to leave this style of leadership behind and start working on connections and involvement from the start. Listen to the employees and their managers. Stimulate them to ask questions! Involve them 150% in the organization and its goals and objectives. Inspire them, so they can inspire the organization and its customers.

I believe with this transparent and simple approach, the results will increase, sick leave numbers will drop dramatically, the employees will feel much more committed to the organization and talent will stay.
